Our Degree Apprentices are at the cutting edge of technology in Fujitsu. You will be encouraged to grow and be a future leader in test and will give you the opportunity to explore different career options within the Test Team. It’s all about leading the way forward as we continue to develop our Agile and DevOps strategies to meet customer demands and remain relevant in this changing marketplace.

As a Software Testing Degree Apprentice, you will:
• Be trained in and develop your technical skills, both testing and coding, as well as your testing skills as part of a cross-functional team
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs and as part of development squads deliver a high quality product or service
• Be encouraged to work your way to be a fundamental part of a self-organising team
• Develop skills in automated testing, performance testing, Continuous Integration/Development (CI/CD), Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) and the tools that drive them

The Fujitsu Degree Apprenticeship is a 4-year scheme, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst studying towards your BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions Degree. 

The degree will be delivered through taught sessions at either the University of Winchester (if you are based in Bracknell) or Manchester Metropolitan University (if you are based in Manchester) one day per week with the rest of your time spent on the job with 20% of your time dedicated to your studies.

Each module you study will match up to the business area within Fujitsu that you will be working in, ensuring you are receiving work-based learning that is relevant to your course.    

Within Fujitsu, you will receive lots of support to allow you to perform to the best of your ability in your role with us. You will be line managed and will receive coaching and mentoring from your colleagues in Test and Validation as well as in the business. You will also undertake the 24 month modular development programme alongside others within the junior talent community.

Application Requirements:
112 UCAS Points (3 A Levels Grade BBC OR BTEC DMM)
Grade C/Level 4 or above in English and Maths GCSE
Experience in or an interest in IT
